Social events for all

At Bristol & Clifton we have a packed calendar of social events throughout the year with all our members welcome - juniors, seniors, social members etc. We host an annual programme of mixed social golf on a Sunday with a round of golf played after partaking in the 'Carvery Club' and provides a great opportunity to meet new people at the club, enjoy a wonderful carvery and have the opportunity to walk it off by playing a round of golf!  Other events throughout the year include quiz nights, music evenings, bridge and roll up golf & curry evenings. All events are advertised on the Bristol and Clifton website.

Women's section social events

The ladies' section also holds a variety of events for women members, which include:

Women versus Seniors, twice a year - foursomes match plus lunch
Women's Captain versus Women's Vice Captain event in March - foursomes match followed by lunch
Women's section Open Eclectic in May - Women's foursomes medal, play 28 holes with lunch in between rounds

Wine & Nine - roll up golf organised monthy through the Summer period for new members and beginners
Women's Captain day in June - 3 ball bowmaker followed by lunch
Women's Invitation day in July - 4 ball better ball
Women's Captain's Away day in August - golf at a local club followed by lunch
Women's Open Bowmaker in August - Stableford Open competition for teams of three
Women's Daily Mail Foursomes in September - foursomes team qualifier
Women's Captain charity fund raising day in October - golf followed by lunch
Women's Christmas lunch in December

Golf support for all new members

It's important to us that all new members feel welcome and part of the Women's section from day one. We offer a designated member of the Women's section to new full members, if they want one, to be there to answer any questions about how things work - competitions, getting a game, social events, playing on a team etc.
